An essential problem with intruded or implanted metal is to find the exact location. So it’s sometimes a very difficult task.

You need often much more time when using only x-rays in case of complex positions.

Seeing a metal piece at a monitor, even as a three- dimensional picture, it’s only an image but not the real position.

With a metal detector it is very easy to find the exact place of nails, wires, splinters, bullets, shrapnels and so on.

Minimal cutting of tissue or callus is minimising the risk of infections with resistent bakteria (=> charred bones!).

The dobert-ML works like a miniature mine detector. With the tone variation you can get the exact location very fast and easy.

The detector is made for all sorts of metal. The maximal locating distance is maximal   15 mm for a standard needle. Bigger metal pieces can be found in a larger distance.

This long-life tool is total easy to handle, it’s battery driven and completely isolated. It works with an extreme low power.

For exquisite ergonomic handling the detector has a Start-/Stop-Automatic.
I.e. putting the probe on/against a piece of big metal the sound is switching off. Removing the probe from the big metal (metal desk or similar) for the moments of real searching the sound is active. So the sound is only active when you are using the probe, the other times it’s quiet.

The complete probe inclusive cable and plug is fully sterilizable at 140°C (275°F) for 20-30 minutes.
