Herzschrittmacher
Bei Patienten mit Herzschrittmacher ist stets dessen einwandfreie Funktion zu überwachen.
Elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit
Das zur Metallsuche ausgestrahlte Hochfrequenzfeld ist extrem schwach (< 5mW), so daß eine Gefährdung von Gewebe nach dem heutigen Stand der Wissenschaft als nicht wahrscheinlich angenommen werden kann.
Trotzdem sollte der Einsatz auf die kürzestmögliche Zeit beschränkt werden.
Ferner ist zu prüfen, ob das Gerät andere Geräte stört oder von diesen gestört wird.
Bruchgefahr
Eine starke mechanische Belastung der Sondenspitze ist zu vermeiden. Es besteht die Gefahr des Abbrechens.
Die Kunststoffteile sind keine Schutzkappen! Sie dürfen nicht entfernt werden, da sonst die Sonde zerstört wird.

Chez les malades porteurs de stimulateur cardiaque le bon fonctionnement de celui-ci est à surveiller.
Compatibilité électromagnétique
Le champ de hautes fréquences utilisé pour la recherche du métal est extrêmement faible (<5mW), tel que le risque d’une lésion de tissus, d’aprés l’état actuel des sciences, peut être considéré comme peu probable.
Il est conseillé tout de même de réduire l’intervention au temps le plus court possible.
Il est à vérifier, si cet appareil perturbe ou est perturbé par tout autre appareil.
Danger de rupture
Il faut éviter un trop grande sollicitation mécanique de la pointe de la sonde. Elle risque de se briser.
Les pièces en matière synthetique ne sont pas des embouts protecteurs! Ne les envelez pas, au risque d’endommager la sonde.
